HILLSVILLE ( WSLS 10) - Â The Hillsville Police Department say 30 school buses, 10 of which are actively used, were damaged last month by two juveniles who they have now identified.
Chief Wesley Yonce of the Hillsville police says vandals used food dye to write names and symbols on  buses. They also broke into several of the cameras,took seatbelt cutters and jabbed them in the seats, as well as breaking the mirrors out of them.

Even the bus now used as a computer lab was not spared.
They broke three of the computers off the stands.
It was a total of about 10 thousand dollars worth of damage. Police have not released the juveniles' names, but say they will be charged
The buses are expected to be back in working order by the first day of school on Thursday.
