Shop Small with the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce has joined efforts with American Express and its Shop Small Business Saturday. Shoppers are encouraged to shop around the Towns of Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and Montgomery County seeking small businesses who are participating.
At each of the participating businesses, the shopper can enter their name in a drawing for five (5) - $200 gift cards to be held on December 2 at 9:00 am. There will be five winners. Many of the shoppers will be given recyclable shopping totes, pens, buttons, and other small favors.
Events such as this will be taking place around the country on November 29 in support of small business, which is the backbone of our economy. Read more
