BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - All this year, Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The college held a celebration Friday and will continue to do different activities throughout the year.

The goal is to continue expanding as they get students as work ready as possible.
"Now we've got almost 90 percent of our graduates who are seeking employment getting jobs shortly after graduation," Pamplin College of Business Dean Robert Sumichrast said. "We really are filling a need in the marketplace and I think students are responding to that."
Sumichrast and several members of the Virginia Tech administration will also get recognition this week in Richmond.
They will be acknowledged on the floor of the General Assembly Thursday during Hokie Day.
