ROCKBRIDGE CO. (WSLS 10) - Virginia State Police said a 20-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday.
VSP Senior Trooper R. E. Tackett is investigating the crash. It happened at 4:15 p.m. on State Route 60 (West Midland Trail) near Muddy Lane in Rockbridge County.

VSP said 20-year-old Anthony D. Richards was driving a 2000 Ford Mustang westbound on Route 60 when the car ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Richards, who is from Lexington, died at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt.
Fatigue appeared to be a factor in the cause of the crash. It remains under investigation.
