Cabrera was arrested on child pornography charges after a tip was left with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The Lynchburg Police Department Forensics Unit - part of the ICAC Task Force - said the cyber-tip was received in reference to an address in Frederick, Maryland.
The investigation ultimately lead police to Cabrera's dorm at Lynchburg College. Police said they got a search warrant and confiscated his computer and two cell phones.
On them, police said they found more than 100 images of "graphic" child pornography.
Cabrera, who is from Frederick, Md., was charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography and is being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority's Lynchburg Adult Detention Center without bond.
