ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - A flower shop in Roanoke will close after 100 years in business.
Fallon Florist located on Church Street will close Sunday. The owners said they are retiring and putting the building up for sale.

Ruth Valentine and her husband have owned the shop since 1979 and said they want to take a break.
"It's been indescribable and an awesome experience," co-owner Ruth Valentine said. "My husband and I agreed that we just feel honored and privileged. I've been such a part of people's lives to share special moments with them weddings, funerals, and the birth of children."
Inventory is being sold off and nearly everything in the store is 75 percent off.
