ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - You may have noticed people in the community wearing a bright pink wig.
Well it's not a new fashion trend, it's part of the Susan G. Komen BigWig challenge.

The pink wigs are being worn by 10 community leaders who share a passion for wiping out breast cancer.
WSLS 10's Daytime Blue Ridge co-host Lindee Katdare is one of the 10 community leaders taking part. They've been challenged to raise $10,000 for the cause.
The BigWig challenge also celebrates the organizations 10th anniversary of servicing women in the Roanoke Valley.
