BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) -- Blacksburg Middle School will have extra counselors on hand when school resumes classes Monday, following the death of 13-year-old Nicole Lovell.
Lovell was a seventh grader at Blacksburg Middle. She previously attended Margaret Beeks Elementary, said Montgomery County School spokeswoman Brenda Drake.

Special rooms will also be set up for students who may need extra time.
Rather than starting the school day with first period, Drake said, the day will begin in "teams." That's where students will gather to talk about what happened and also talk about the resources available to them as they cope with the loss of a classmate.
A message will also be sent to parents Sunday evening to provide resources -- including information on how parents can talk to their children about what has happened, Drake said.
Blacksburg police confirmed Saturday that Lovell was found dead, her remains found in Surry, NC.
Two Virginia Tech engineering majors have been charged in connection with her death. 18-year-old David Eisenhauer is charged with first degree murder and abduction.
19-year-old Natalie Keepers is charged with improper disposal of a dead body and accessory after the fact in the commission of a felony.
Both are being held without bond at the Montgomery County Jail.
