- A three-day camp for rising 4th-6th graders will take place where they will explore Normandy during this year’s World War II Day Camp. Children can experience the history and culture of northern France at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford. Daily activities, snacks and a T-shirt are included if you registered. It’s happening from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- The 21st annual Berglund Automotive Star City Motor Madness kicks off this evening at 6 p.m. Thousands of car, truck and motorcycle fans are expected to gather at Cruise Central, located at 3926 Williamson Road. Proceeds from the event will go to the Virginia Museum of Transportation and other nonprofits.
