ROANOKE, Va. – A busy corner in Roanoke is getting a safety upgrade.
On Monday, crews will begin work on a curb ramp at Campbell Avenue and Wall Street.
The project will expand the sidewalk to meet federal accessibility standards, improving safety for people walking and slowing down traffic.
It’s funded through a VDOT State of Good Repair grant.
