One person was fatally stabbed and two others were injured near a concert venue in Hampton, Virginia, during a Phish concert, according to the Hampton Police Department.
The stabbing occurred Friday around 9:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Coliseum Drive after an argument escalated into a fight involving several people, investigators said.
One victim was rushed to the hospital but did not survive. The other two men are expected to recover.
After the incident, the suspect fled the scene, but officers nearby quickly located and detained a possible suspect.
Detectives from the Hampton Police Division’s major crimes unit said they have identified all parties involved and believe the stabbing was an isolated incident.
