FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted arm robbery from Saturday night.
They say a man entered Hardy’s Mart on Booker T Washington Highway around 8 p.m. demanding money and had a firearm.

The suspect then fled the scene; there was no vehicle present.
Deputies are searching for the suspect.
