Salvation Army of Greater Lynchburg reopens after COVID-19 lockdown

Facility had been closed since Nov 20 for deep cleaning, sanitizing

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Salvation Army of Greater Lynchburg has reopened its Center of Hope facility this week after a positive coronavirus test last month.

The shelter had been on lockdown since November 20 for deep cleaning and sanitizing.

The facility’s family services program also resumed Monday, while the community meal program is set to pick back up Wednesday.
