Gov. Youngkin to speak at Liberty University’s spring convocation

The convocation lineup features several notable guests and performers

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Many noteworthy performers and speakers will be heading to the Hill City this year for Liberty University’s spring convocation.

Governor Glenn Youngkin will be stopping by the university to speak on March 25 as part of the university’s Helms School of Government’s public policy conference.

“I am pleased to speak at Liberty University to the next generation of Virginia’s leaders,” Youngkin said. “As your governor, I am committed to preserving liberty, lowering the costs of Virginians, ensuring safe communities and preparing our students for a successful future.”

The convocation he’s slated to speak at will start at 10:30 a.m. in the Vines Center and will be live-streamed on Liberty’s Facebook page and the Office of Spiritual Development Facebook page.

In addition, a four-time Grammy award-winning duo, for KING & COUNTRY, will be performing, as well as worship duo, Shane & Shane. For KING & COUNTRY will take the stage on March 11 and Shane & Shane on April 13.
