This comes after construction of the new facility was approved by the Lynchburg City Council back in April.

It will be located at the corner of Odd Fellows Road and Albert Lankford Drive.

As we’ve reported previously, it is estimated that the project will cost more than $47.5 million.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be open to the public.
