No one inside car found in Roanoke River, officials say

ROANOKE, Va. – A car was found in the Roanoke River on Tuesday morning, according to Roanoke Fire-EMS.

Officials said crews were dispatched near Piedmont Park around 10:22 a.m.

Crews said the car was searched by a swift water rescue team and they did not find anyone inside.
