FLOYD, Va. – Members of the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office recently made an unusual, yet extraordinary rescue.

The sheriff’s office said Sgt. King and his shift responded to a call involving an injured bald eagle. Luckily, the crew was able to get to the eagle in time, before turning it over to a wildlife rescue.
We’re told the rescue will nurse it back to health before letting it go back into the wild.
