PEARISBURG, Va. – The community is excited to welcome back a beloved restaurant in the New River Valley.
Friends and family, a long-time community staple, is once again serving meals after the restaurant burned down nearly two years ago.
The Pearisburg restaurant has been rebuilt and is holding soft openings all this week 10 News was there Monday as customers were welcomed back.
The owners say it has been a lot of hard work rebuilding the business, but it was important to bring it back.
“Oh my gosh. This has been almost like a dream. It’s like starting a new chapter in your life all over again. Everything is new. We are having to train all over again.”
“It’s been really tremendous. We’ve had people calling the whole time I’ve been in here trying to prep food for the day the phone has been nonstop ringing so I’m thinking they are really happy we are here.“
The restaurant will be holding soft openings all this week and they hope to have an official grand opening in about a week.
