The lower overlook at Mill Mountain’s Rockledge will be closed for painting from today, Tuesday, July 1, through Thursday, July 3.
Work is expected to be completed by Thursday afternoon, with the overlook reopening at 3 p.m. This timing allows visitors to enjoy the Freedom Festival fireworks from the mountain later that evening.
