LYNCHBURG, Va. – Wawa has opened its first store in the Hill City!
The gas station and convenience store chain will be located on Wards Road.
The opening is part of the company’s I-81 expansion plans.
“We have been received so graciously," said Kim Dowgielewicz, Wawa director of store operations.
Wawa also launched a campaign to benefit the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
The grand opening celebration kicked off earlier Thursday morning.
