ROANOKE, Va. – The Roanoke Police Department announced Wednesday that it was investigating a major crash involving a motorcycle and a minivan that occurred at the intersection of 8th Street and Elm Ave SE. The motorcyclist has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Officials say the initial call for service came in at 5:23 p.m.
