ALLEGHANY CO., Va. – Alleghany Highlands Public Schools announced Monday that Alleghany High School will be closed due to a water line issue at the school. AHPS said that students will participate in virtual learning from home and that students should check their email and Canvas activities for scheduled for the day.
Meals will be available fro pickup at AHS between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Officials said the Alleghany County Public Schools is addressing the situation and will provide updates.
