Virginia State Police is investigating a Pittsylvania County crash that claimed the life of a 65-year-old man.
State troopers responded to the single-vehicle crash on Wednesday at about 10 p.m. on Old Richmond Road.

Stephen Lee Buergey, of Pittsylvania, was driving in a Lexus RX-300 when he ran off the right side of the roadway and hit a tree. Authorities say Buergey died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
