Bomb threat at Roanoke-Blacksburg Airport investigated

ROANOKE, Va – Officers from the Roanoke police department responded to the Roanoke Blacksburg Airport after a bomb threat was made to a local dispatch center.
The terminal was evacuated out of an abundance of caution for about an hour. Police found no suspect or suspicious packages.
One incoming flight, American Airlines flight 5834 was unable to deplane for 20 minutes. No outgoing flights were impacted.
