Virginia Supreme Court denies Attorney General’s request to appeal ruling blocking redistricting vote certification

The Virginia Supreme Court has rejected an emergency motion filed by Attorney General Jay Jones to appeal a Tazewell County Circuit Court’s ruling, which blocked the certification of Virginia’s Redistricting vote.

According to court records, Jones filed a motion for an emergency stay of the circuit court’s April 22 order.
