PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – Pittsylvania County is currently under a burn ban due to the severe drought conditions.
The county’s director of Public Safety, Chris Key, told 10 News that the ban will remain in effect until further notice. This applies to burning leaves, brush and/or other vegetation. Once the county sees significant rainfall, the burn ban will be lifted.
