Rocky Mount Elementary closed Monday due to flooding

ROCKY MOUNT, Va. – Rocky Mount Elementary will be closed on Monday, May 11, due to flooding in the lower hallway, according to school officials.

Students who are already on buses will be provided breakfast at school once they arrive, and then dropped off back home.

“Thank you for your patience as we address these maintenance repairs,” the school district said.
