Danville police arrest two, seize drugs after tips

Police find cocaine, marijuana, cash and ammunition

DANVILLE, Va. – Tips from citizens led police to a large seizure of drugs and two arrests in Danville, authorities said.

Officers from the Virginia State Police Tactical Team, Aerial Support and Regional Task Force assisted Danville police April 27 in executing a search warrant at 215 Withers Road.

Antwan Stanfield and Nathan Luck were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Luck is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Danville police said they seized the following items:

  • 6.2 ounces of cocaine
  • About 16.2 ounces of marijuana
  • Three digital scales
  • A argel amount of drug packaging material
  • $1,254 in cash
  • A large amount of ammunition 
  • A .40-caliber handgun
  • A Mossberg 12-gage shotgun with pistol grip
  • Gang paraphernalia

Police said the investigation is continuing.
