Missing Carroll County man found in Roanoke

CARROLL COUNTY, Va. – William Carroll was found safe at a shelter in Roanoke on Tuesday night, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is asking for help locating a missing 40-year-old man.

William McCoy Carroll left his home on Saturday near Galax.

The Sheriff's Office says that Carroll told people he was walking to Roanoke to speak with the FBI.

He was last seen Pulaski on Monday night.

Carroll has some medical issues and may not be in possession of his medications.

Anyone with information about his location is asked to contact the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office at 276-728-4146 or their local law enforcement agency.
