SALEM, Va. – The annual 1st and 10 Trophy Tour rolls to Salem where a talented receiver was recognized for his early season efforts.
It was in week 2 when Coen Logan made his presence known--5 catches for 142 yards and 3 touchdowns in a win over Franklin County. The junior finished the season with over 600 yards and 8 touchdowns, helping the Spartans reach the Region 4D Finals.
“That’s what I always try to do, perform my best every game,” Logan said during his recent trophy presentation. “It’s just how I carry myself every single game. I know people always have my back around me, and I can always count on my brothers to do their job, and I can count on me to do mine.”
“He allows us to stretch the field. He’s a great route runner--good route runner--getting better all the time,” said Salem head coach Don Holter. “But, we love the effort and things that he gives and what he brings to our team, his leadership, not just his ability.”
Logan is already working hard this off-season in preps for a stellar senior campaign.
