Three Rivers showdown: Carroll County avenges loss to Glenvar, 77-69
SALEM, Va. – In boys high school hoops, the Three Rivers District typically goes through Radford. But there appears to be a new sheriff in town--Carroll County.
The Cavaliers carried a 19-1 record on the road to Glenvar--the only team that’s beaten them this year. It was a tightly contested game throughout but two important runs helped Carroll County earn a 77-69 victory. An 11-0 run to close the second quarter and a 6-0 run to end the third quarter.
The Cavaliers are now 20-1 this season.
