BASSETT, Va. – Bassett tennis player Emily Whitlow will be taking her talents to nearby Ferrum College. A signing ceremony for the senior was held Thursday afternoon.
Whitlow is currently 6-0 in singles matches this season. She’s also part of the Bengals’ top doubles team alongside her partner and fellow senior Payton Horsley.
Ferrum College tennis is led by Jose Rincon, the former head tennis pro at Hidden Valley Country Club in Salem.
