Cleveland Clinic released its findings from the first phase of the clinical trial for the preventive breast cancer vaccine.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and on Wednesday, the Salem VA Resource Fair brought together dozens of Veterans, caregivers, and their families to learn and support each other in the fight against breast cancer.

Many people don’t know there are trials going on right now for a breast cancer vaccine.

Each year, there are 7,800 women and men in the VBCF service area who are diagnosed with breast cancer.
