Lynchburg police are sounding the alarm on a troubling trend involving young teens, stolen guns, and a surge in car break-ins across the area.

Lynchburg Beacon of Hope hosted a press conference on April 7 at E.C. Glass High School to announce the 2025 recipients of the Hilltopper Alumni Football Scholarship.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged after a bomb threat was made to E.C. Glass High School early Monday, according to the Lynchburg Police Department.
