A man lost his life after a crash in Appomattox County on Route 460 Tuesday afternoon, according to Virginia State Police.

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – Two people are dead after a crash on I-81S in Roanoke County on Monday morning, according to Virginia State Police. Authorities say the crash happened around 2:53 a.m. at the 131.4 mile marker. The passenger was identified as Jordan Joshua Harrell, 29, of Bronx, N.Y. State Police say Mr. Harrell was wearing his seatbelt and also died at the scene. The Virginia State Police Crash Investigation Team was called to assist. The crash remains under investigation.
