“Judge Judy” Sheindlin has sued the parent company of InTouch Weekly and the National Enquirer over what she says are false stories about her speaking out on the Menendez brothers murder case.

Judge Judy Sheindlin will return to television on on November 1 with “Judy Justice,” a new show where she will arbitrate cases on the little-known IMDb TV, a free streaming service offered by Amazon.

Sen. Tim Kaine said Republicans are breaking a promise by rushing to appoint a new U.S. Supreme Court justice before the November election. Kaine, a Democrat, spoke with members of the media on Thursday and said Republicans agreed before the 2016 election to not appoint a Supreme Court justice before a presidential election. “I don’t care if it’s Judge Judy or Aaron Judge, I’m not voting for a nominee that comes out of an illegitimate process,” said Kaine. He said the main reason Republicans want to fill the seat now is to get rid of the Affordable Care Act. A major case over Obamacare is set to appear before the Supreme Court on Nov. 10, just one week after the election.

This couple has special reason to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock: They met on their way there! Judy and Jerry Griffin first met one day before the legendary music festival in upstate New York, where a half-million people gathered to rock out in 1969. Her car had broken down, so she and her friends got a ride with Jerry and his buddies. But when they'd tell people their origin story, they always lamented that they had no pictures from the festival. That was it, that was the first time, the only time that we've only seen a photograph of us at Woodstock and we've been looking," added Jerry.
