On Wednesday, a jury found Soto-Bonilla guilty of capital murder, abduction and gang participation in MS-13. On the charge of capital murder, Soto-Bonilla was sentenced to life in prison without parole. The sentences will be served consecutively and as part of the agreement with the Commonwealth, Soto-Bonilla waived his rights to appeal.

Kevin Soto-Bonilla was emotionless as the clerk read off that he is guilty of capital murder, abduction and gang participation. In closing statements to the jury the commonwealth said Raymond Wood had something the MS-13 gang wanted, specifically marijuana.
