It has been 60 years since the historic voting rights march from Selma to Montgomery Alabama.

A group of Virginia Tech students wrapped up the university’s MLK week in Roanoke, learning about the city’s black history and performing community service.

The MLK March planned for Monday in Lexington has been cancelled due to weather conditions, CARE Rockbridge said.
