As the region gears up to host the U.S. Mountain Bike Championships again this year, officials announce the races will be back in 2027 as well.

The top mountain bikers in the county raced in downtown Roanoke Thursday night, trying to earn the title of National Champion.

Explore Park in Roanoke County is expanding it's trail network to accommodate the United States National Mountain Bike Championships this summer. 10 News anchor John Carlin takes a tour of some of the new trail with an expert rider.

The mountain bike national championships are coming to Roanoke and John Carlin was out at Elmwood Park today speaking to organizers.
