Some people waited outside the Buchanan Library since 3 a.m. for ticket sales to start at noon. The event, put on by Old Dominion frontman Matthew Ramsey, brings some of Nashville's most talented performers to Buchanan. For those who don't yet have tickets, you can buy them until 7 p.m. on Friday night and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. All the money raised will benefit the Buchanan Area Ministerial Association (BAMA) Food Pantry and other areas in need in Botetourt County.

Matthew Ramsey, front man of Old Dominion, created the event several years ago as a way to make a difference in his hometown. He wanted to know what he could do to help the community.About a 100 people attended Nashville Night that first year in support of a local food pantry. She says this community has been so supportive and that was evident when Old Dominion played the Berglund Center last fall. Nashville Night tickets will be on sale at the Buchanan library on Aug. 16th from noon- 7 p.m. and Aug. 17th 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
