Roanoke student and baseball player Eddie Kaufman passed Tuesday after a courageous battle with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, the Roanoke College Athletics Facebook page has reported.

Lynchburg Beacon of Hope hosted a press conference on April 7 at E.C. Glass High School to announce the 2025 recipients of the Hilltopper Alumni Football Scholarship.

The community gathered to say goodbye to a beloved student-athlete who unexpectedly passed away last Sunday.
