High temperatures are above freezing this afternoon! That means snow and ice will start to melt at a fairly quick pace. Sunshine also helps with this process, but anything that melts today will likely refreeze later tonight.
The trend to start the week is warm! But, colder air returns by midweek at a rapid pace.
The reason colder temperatures return this week is because of a few fronts passing across the region. Though these won’t bring the chance for much rain, they will bring cold air and gusty winds.
