Idaho pastor who chose not to enforce mask mandate in recovery after contracting COVID-19
– An Idaho pastor who chose not to enforce Kootenai County’s mask mandate among his congregation continues to recover after he and other church staff members contracted the virus. Paul Van Noy is the senior pastor at Candlelight Christian Fellowship in Coeur d’Alene. Members of the church were not required to wear masks. However, Paul noted that the church would support members' freedom to choose whether or not to wear facial coverings and follow social distancing guidelines. In the weeks that followed, six church staff members, including Paul and his wife, Brenda, contracted the virus.

RICHMOND, Va. – Renewing your driver’s license, learner’s permit or ID can be tricky during the coronavirus pandemic, but you’ve just been given an extra 60 days and alternative options to make it happen. Ralph Northam announced Fifth Executive Directive 7 during a press briefing on Tuesday that there’s a new extension for credentials that expired during the pandemic. Starting mid-September, people who need to renew their licenses have two options:Option 1: Schedule an in-person appointment to renew the driver’s license or ID for the full eight years. Option 2: Renew remotely online or by mail, but the driver’s license or ID will only be valid for two years. The DMV will mail the license or ID to your home.
US wildlife officials aim to remove wolf protections in 2020
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. The Trump administration plans to lift endangered species protections for gray wolves across most of the nation by the end of the year, the director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said Monday. The administration also is pushing ahead with a rollback of protections for migratory birds despite a recent setback in federal court, she said. Skipwith said the Fish and Wildlife Service was still evaluating the judges decision and planned to issue a final rule by the end of the year. The agency remains committed to making sure were not criminalizing these unintentional actions while stepping up efforts to protect migratory birds, she said.
