ROANOKE COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Roanoke County said it is focused on marketing HSN's building after Tuesday's announcement it would close its fulfillment center.
The company announced it is moving its facility from Roanoke to Piney Flats, Tennessee.

Roanoke County Economic Development Director Jill Loope was taken off guard by HSN's move especially since the company didn't share its concerns with the county before the announcement.
"They have been shifting around companies do that all the time," says Loope. "It's never easy when it happens and some communities are the beneficiaries of that and some aren't."
The county is now focused on finding another business to take over the 400,000 square foot building.
However with several companies restructuring and cutting jobs like Advance Auto, Allstate, Norfolk Southern, Yokohama Tire Manufacturing, NTelos, and USPS we asked the Roanoke Regional Partnership if that would steer other businesses away.
"Some of the recent transitions out of the Roanoke market has been more in the office sector and not so much in the industrial development sector."
