Roanoke – WSLS 10 News made a $750 donation to Feeding Southwest Virginia, thanks to community partners through its Dining for Charities program.
Each month, WSLS 10 partners with a local charity as part of the program. Participating businesses offer a certificate for sale through the Dining for Charities website. 15% of the certificate sold is donated to the local charity that month.

WSLS 10 is proud to make the donation to Feeding Southwest Virginia, a non-profit organization that channels through a network of 380 partner feeding programs in a 26-county, 9 city region that provide food or meals to those in need.
1 in 8 people face hunger in Southwest Virginia, and 1 in 5 children are food insecure. Feeding Southwest Virginia is able to turn every $10 into 50 meals for those in need. That’s why WSLS 10 is proud to make this donation which will provide 3,750 meals for those in need.
