Corporal Ryan Tillman has been working at the school for more than a year, and he surprised students with a dance routine in the Don Lugo High School gym in Chino.

Breaking out moves to MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This” and Soulja Boy’s “Crank That,” Tillman looked like a natural.

“One of the things I've always just liked to do, just me being me, [is] to dance. I danced with my students before at football games and stuff like that, so I wanted to go out with a bang,” Tillman told InsideEdition.com.

He got together with members of the school’s dance hip hop dance team to put together a farewell performance as a surprise for students. They wanted to include some new and old school hits in the routine, and students went wild during the surprise number.

A video of it has since gone viral.

“My goal is to bring awareness to just show that police officers are human beings,” Tillman said.

He’s also started an organization, Breaking Barriers United, to “bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community.”

“I wasn't always a fan of police officers. I couldn't' stand police officers until I became one,” Tillman added. “I carry that into my day job and when videos go viral like that, it's a constant reminder for me and a reminder for others that these guys … have a lot of similarities that you guys have.”
