Jesse Matthew transferred to Fairfax Adult Detention Center

FAIRFAX (WSLS 10) - Jesse Matthew Jr., the suspect in the abduction of UVa student Hannah Graham, is now in Fairfax. 

According to our NBC affiliate in Virginia Beach, Matthew was transferred from Charlottesville to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center overnight. 

Matthew was checked into the jail at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, ahead of a status hearing at 9 a.m. Friday. 

He's currently facing several charges, including attempted capital murder in a 2005 Fairfax sexual assault case where he attacked a woman as she was leaving a local grocery store.
