STAUNTON, Va. (AP) - Shenandoah National Park wants to raise entrance fees in 2015.
The National Park Service says the move comes as the agency tries to standardize fees for similar parks across the nation.

Seven-day entrance passes for vehicles other than motorcycles would be $25 year-round. Those drivers currently pay $15 in peak season and $10 at other times.
The fee for people who bike or walk into the park would go to $12 for seven days, up from $8.
Annual auto passes would increase from $30 to $50. Motorcyclists would pay $20 for access, double the current $10.
The new rates would be effective May 1.
