Carilion Clinic is changing the name of its fitness facilities. The new signs will be up in January.

To reflect Carilion Clinic's commitment to health and wellness, the organization has a new name for its fitness facilities and wellness/fitness programs: Carilion Wellness," said a news release.
Carilion Wellness is made up of the fitness clubs formerly known as the Roanoke and Botetourt Athletic Clubs and RAC Xpress.
Carilion says it
will offer more programs in 2015 for patients and for the community in addition to members of our fitness facilities and Carilion employees.
"The name clearly reflects that the fitness facilities and programs are Carilion health partners," the news release continues.
Here are some other changes they have planned:

Renovations at the Roanoke fitness facility location (formerly known as the RAC) will be completed by the end of December. The newly renovated space features completely renovated locker rooms with whirlpools and steam rooms, a freshened look, an updated lobby area and a new functional training studio.

A new and improved website, carilionwellness.com, will launch in late December.
