ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Carilion Clinic has launched an Inclement Weather Alert System on CarilionClinic.org so patients and employees know when Carilion practices are closed due to severe weather.
When snow and ice make it too dangerous to be open, Carilion Clinic will let patients, staff and the public know that its practices are closed using the new system.Â

After the first practice closes due to hazardous weather, a red banner will appear at the top of the CarilionClinic.org homepage and will remain there until the last practice reopens.
